What we collect
We collect personal information in two circumstances only:
When you submit a form
Our contact and quotation forms ask for your name, company, email address, telephone number and the details of your enquiry. The quotation form additionally asks for your city, the product or profile type, material, colour, quantity and required length. Only the fields marked as required must be completed.
The quotation form also lets you attach a drawing or sample photo (JPG, PNG, PDF or DWG, up to 10 MB). This is optional. Attached files are stored on our server in a location that is not linked from anywhere on the website and is not indexed by search engines, and are only accessed by NF Industry staff preparing your quotation.
When you submit a form we also record the date and time of submission, the page you submitted it from, and the IP address of the connection. The IP address is used to limit automated spam submissions and for no other purpose.
Technical information
Our web server keeps standard access logs recording the pages requested, the time of the request, and the requesting IP address. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure.
Why we collect it, and our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quotation. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box on the form, and thereafter our legitimate interest in conducting and recording business correspondence.
- To keep a record of quotations issued. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in maintaining commercial records, and where applicable our legal obligation to retain records of business transactions.
- To prevent spam and abuse of our forms. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in the security of our systems.
We do not use your details for marketing unless you have separately asked us to, and we never sell or rent them.
How it is stored, and for how long
Form submissions are stored in this website’s database and are also emailed to our sales team. Access to the website’s administration area is restricted to authorised staff accounts.
